Get ready for a Fallout 4 announcement at next month’s E3.

Back in February, we reported on Bethesda’s upcoming E3 Showcase — a first ever for the video game publisher. At the time, Fallout 4 rumors were flying thicker than flak from a modified railway rifle, and it just seemed to make sense that a reveal was forthcoming at the world’s premier gaming trade show.

Fallout 4 Announcement

E3 is only a month away, and things are looking better and better for a Fallout 4 announcement. Videogamer is reporting that Bethesda hired filmmaker Guillermo del Toro’s production company, Mirada Studios, to make a cinematic trailer for the highly anticipated game — this according to the Linkedin profile of a contract artist who allegedly worked on the project from December 2014 through March 2015 (see screenshot below).

If true, this would suggest that the trailer would indeed be ready in plenty of time for the E3 Showcase. A cinematic trailer from a heavy-hitter like Mirada Studios would be simply epic.

Now, it’s important to note that this information still falls under the category of “rumor,” and Bethesda still hasn’t acknowledged that Fallout 4 is even in production. For that matter, Mirada Studios hasn’t revealed that they’ve worked on a trailer, despite what the contract artist indicates in his or her profile. Vault Boy’s mamma didn’t raise no fool though, and this latest information only seems to give credence to a Fallout 4 announcement.
